This is so cute, and sarcastic. I mean SebastiAn really disappeared lately, and he can't just come out with a remix and keepin' the old style at once, cause every hipster would be: "that shit is sooo last year". But he managed to avoid that, by calling this new Uffie remix "2006 Parties Remix by SebastiAn". Smooth move, smooth indeed. And i gotta say, it does sounds like 2006.
The first real/new single from the long awaited debut album Sex Dreams and Denim Jeans by electro princess Uffie is here! The radio-rip quality version is out there for while, but this is the real deal, featuring Pharrell Williams and produced by Mirwais. Is it too popish? It's your call.
The latest EP of Ed Banger's playmate Uffie is due release on 1 February 2010 under the name MCs Can Kiss. It will feature five different mixes of the title track, MCs Can Kiss produced by Mr. Oizo. Here's a preview of the EP, mixed by Starkey which adds a little extra to the - at least for me - somewhat boring sound of her.
