Awooga!

We haven't really heard anything from Calvin Harris this year, but he's back with a new electroish(?) song called Awooga. I guess he just came up with the name in a hotel room, during tumblr surfing or something 'cause it's so random. The track is a bit of a watered down dutch house song, but it can be easily fit in any set. Video below, check it.

Video: Savage Skulls & Douster - Bad Gal (ft. Robyn)

This video makes me miss the summer time even more! Savage Skulls and Douster's track is a great house / electro tune, with Robyn on the vocals, which makes it perfect. And the video has some kind of storyline too, but who cares about that really?

Magnetic Man - Getting Nowhere (video)

This video is magic. Getting Nowhere is the third single from Magnetic Man's self titled album. It features John Legend on the vocals, who really makes this song special. Him and this video above! I mean death on a horse and on bmx in the city? That's artsy for me in a good way!

Fighting Fire - round 2

We already posted this Breakage song, but the video just arrived, and a nice electro remix from Foamo also! So it's really deserved another round.

Daft Punk - Derezzed (official video)

Don Rimini - Whatever

I already posted two brand new videos on our official facebook page (follow us now!), so here's a third one. This new Don Rimini video is soo dirty, that...meh forget it, i'm not gonna make a dirty analogy, it's overused. Let just say it's fucking dirty, with lines like: "your sister is licking my nut". I mean seriously that is nasty. Anyway it's a great electro / house tune, so enjoy!

Video: Chase & Status - 'Let You Go' Feat. Mali

Chase & Status are all over the place. I mean they're producing chart-topping mainstream albums, huuuge dubstep tunes, and personal hits, like this one. The video is about those annoying talk shows, that everyone hates but somehow everyone watch them.

Nero did a remix too, it's perfect in a party at sunrise.

Katy On A Mission With Benga

Katy B a young singer from London got teamed up with Benga. And the outcome is this dubstep-pop summer tuuuune! We need more of this, and the world would be a better place. And nice video too.

There's gonna be trouble and bass

This summer is pretty heavy in terms of electronic madness. Le Castle Vania is coming, to the 48h noise life party on July 3, Major Lazer and Boys Noize (w. Erol Alkan) is gonna perform on our biggest summer festival Sziget. Balaton Sound welcomes acts like the Chemical Brothers, and 2manydj's. And Crookers is coming also in the end of August.

And for those who can't get enough of the sweet taste of bass, here's a new name from NYC: Drop The Lime! Yes, yes that greaser hipster from Brooklyn who can always make some trouble.

"rockabilly pupuflflglflflgldsj SATAN BASS!"

The date is July 17, the place is Dürer-Kert, our homies the guys from Robotrock gonna arrange this event, so make sure to attend! Finally here's the new single "Sex Sax" from the troublemaker, just to get you in the mood!

Video: Rusko - Hold On (feat. Amber Coffman)

Rusko is one happy lad, and it shows in this video. The second single from the debut album OMG, and it's more like garage than dubstep, but it's still lovely. Hold on!

Fresh From The Box: CC official video

Crystal Castles has just (actually yesterday) released a new music video of Celestica from their second studio album. Just sit and flow with the sound.
[update]Due to YouTube deleted the video, here's another link, unfortunately this time it isn't HD.

Skream's new album coming soon / New video from Benga

Little dubstep news (again). Skream's forthcoming album "Outside The Box" is gonna be released in the summer (july 27), looking forward to that record, you can check the first single here.

Meanwhile here is the new Benga video, it's very arty, enjoy!

Video: Example - Kickstarts (Bar 9 remix)

Mainstream music goin' shitload of crazy over dubstep these days, Rusko's making music for Britney Spears(!!) upcoming album and UK pop/hip-hop nice guy Example's new single just got a wobble-facelift by Bar9. And I already saw this on MTV.

Nobody Beats The Drum - Grindin'

A few days old video of Grindin' by Nobody Beats The Drum. It was made of more than four thousand photos and a ton of wooden toy blocks. Directed by Rogier van der Zwaag, track is available on their EP 'Focus'.

The Bloody Beetroots Death Crew 77 - Domino

I've just realized that, though it's been out for like two days, we haven't yet posted the new Bloody Beetroots video/short film. Sorry for the inconvenience, it won't happen again.:D

According to their blog there's a whole concept behind it:

The name “DOMINO” comes from a typical Venetian Carnival costume, a robe with a black hood and a white mask. I have chosen this title to introduce the first BBDC77 anarco-musical army.
DOMINO (like Xmas Vendetta) underscores the contents of ROMBORAMA. DOMINO is part of ROMBORAMA… DOMINO is a spare of ROMBORAMA.DOMINO is music, cinema & photography.
DOMINO is also a revision of history. DOMINO destroys Nazi iconography to turn into Anarchy… pure ANARCHY.
I live in this world and I firmly believe in the autonomy and freedom of the individual.
DOMINO will come out on 23rd March, anticipated by the short movie I have made for you.

RobotRock Live @ Noise Night Life vol. VI

Finally here's a video of last Saturday's Noise Night Life at Dürer kert. Although I don't remember too much - after like 2AM at least -, it was a tremendous night, thanks for everyone who came. And more importantly, thanks for everyone who came early enough to be there at our set, you're the ones who make this blog running. Okay, after all these thanks and purple ponyshit, check the video, bang yor head to the wall and prepare for the next Noise Night Life on March 13.

Hologram

I Am Un Chien, one of the last survivors of the grindie and nu-rave scene has just released their new video on youtube fo Hologram. It's made entirely on chatroulette so pretty basic but its great fun to wach people's reactions. It makes me think about that altough we spend half of our lives here on chatroulette, we've never encountered them. Fuck. Where did nu-rave go?
