- Okay, so the first question is; how're you feeling here in Budapest? How about the vibe?
-I have a great time, the energy of the crowd is like really good, a strong energy, and thats what matters most in the show.
- How is the scene in America?
-America is very big, so it's different everywhere, you know? Like Los Angeles, it's like huge parties, really good energy. All over California is really good. And then Atlanta, which is my home city, we have a party called FUCK YESSS, which is my party, it's really awesome. I think America is still growing, so some places are really good, some places are still catching on.
- Who are your heroes from the electro scene? How are the new sounds?
-Well, I just started a label, called Always Never, I'm planning to put out stuff by new people that I'm enjoying. There's an artist called Rynecologist that we're working with, he just made a remix for Boys Noize, of the song Contact Me, and is gonna remix for me Nobody Gets Out Alive. As well as my next single that's getting ready to come out called The Light. There's a group called Rrrump from my home city, Atlanta. I've really been liking those guys. From Europe, I really like Yuksek and there's a lot of cool stuff coming out.
- What stage is your career in now?
-I'm trying to grow. and it's a really hard thing, you know, when you're in the middle of something, it's hard to see the perspective. I have a lot of releases lined up, new tracks coming out soon, and I'm negotiating with a pretty big label. I don't wanna say too much, but I'm working on potentially doing an album with a big label. I think I've been blessed with a lot of success and I've been lucky enough to travel and tour the world, but there's still a lot of room to grow. I think more things are still to come.
- What are your influences to besides electro?
-I take influence from all kinds of music, I like a lot of older ones, early dancing rock music, like Joy Division, Stone Roses, obviusly things like Daft Punk, I take influence from some German bass music, some metal, disco, all kinds of things, you know.
- If you had to pick one artist from this decade, which one would it be?
-I think for dance music, definitely Soulwax and Boys Noize, they really did a lot for the sound that I enjoy. For just music in general, I really love Death From Above 1979.
- Final question: if you had to pick one film, Star Wars or Lord of the Rings would it be?
-Probably Star Wars because it's more nostalgic, I'm more into sci-fi than into fantasy I suppose.
- Well thank you very much.
-Thanks, great.
